Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Cause & fix |
|---|---|
| First bill shows a huge amount | No baseline previous reading. Load a previous reading with status Billed for the meter, then re-import. |
| Reading won’t bill | It exceeds the Variance Threshold or has negative usage and is unaccepted. Review and Accept it in Meter Variance. |
| Consumption doesn’t price | A tariff line is missing for that Season + TOU combination. Add the missing Rate Tariff line. |
| KVA demand looks wrong | Check Declared Max Demand on the meter/customer and the Demand Threshold % on the rate type. |
| A new levy isn’t applied | Confirm the levy is Active, within its effective dates, its Applies To scope matches, and the rate type has Use Dynamic Levies on. |
| Solar credit missing | Confirm the meter model is flagged Solar/Net Metering and net-metering buy-back rates exist for the period. |
| Setup Checklist won’t complete | Open it to read the Missing Items list; each entry names the area still to configure. |
| Posting fails on a GL account | A mapped account is missing or not direct-posting. Run Validate Setup on the Billing Setup card. |
