Attachment History
What is an Attachment History?
Any time an attachment is stored (or restored), an attachment history is created to mark down the date/time and size, along with other SharePoint information and any errors. This is also used for dashboards.
Attachment History Collection
To assist with reporting, an Attachment History Collection is automatically created daily which stores the total count and size of all attachment histories for a given date. These records are used in dashboards too. If required, they can be manually refreshed via the command bar.
Restoring Attachments
In the event you want to uninstall the solution, or if you simply want to re-add the attachments, an admin can access and run the flow Extractor - Restore Attachments from SharePoint - Parent via Power Automate (or Power Apps). This will run in the background and restore all applicable attachments.
